Biography

44RAVE has the classic line-up of a 4-piece bluesband and bluesmusic as a main influence.

The music is a mix of SONNY BOY WILLIAMSON and INDIAN TRANCE; a fierce heavy RAW SOUNDING type of groove with melodramatic tendencies. It evokes images of desolate, dark streets, lonely nights by yourself and motel-love.

All songs written, composed and performed by 44RAVE, except some 44RAVE arrangements of JOHN LEE HOOKER and HOWLIN´WOLF songs.

The band started in 2001; first appearance at the Belgian Roots Night in Antwerp. Several radio appearances in Belgium, Radio 21, Radio 1 and Studio Brussel.
